On behalf of our Diversity and Justice team, we are excited to invite you and your friends to participate in a very special Martin Luther King Day presentation.
Originally a part of the Calvin University Speakers Series for 2022, Monday, January 17, from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm we are going to ZOOM the presentation of Latasha Morrison, Unity Expert, Diversity Champion and author of Be The Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation. Ms. Morrison has become well known in the United States in the pursuit of racial justice especially through her foundation called Be The Bridge.
We believe this presentation may offer some insights and ideas as to how congregations and communities like ours could possibly participate in our ongoing fight for justice and equality for all. We plan to listen to her presentation in segments with brief discussion groups interspersed. We believe it will be a wonderful opportunity for our congregation and friends to watch, listen, discuss and share some important questions and ideas.
