High

Preschool/Kindergarten (ages 3-6)

Teachers: Angela Dumler and Renee Lassila

We are using the Children in Worship curriculum in our preschool/kindergarten class. Students check in at the Welcome Table, pick up their name tag, and go directly to their classroom. Parents should pick up students at the classroom door at 10:15.

Grades 1-6

Teachers:

1st & 2nd Grade: Kay Kincaid and Cassandra Pone

3rd & 4th Grade: Jennifer Palarz and Shelley Lehman

5th & 6th Grade: Gary Bischof, and Brian and Karen DeVries

Our 1st-6th grade classes are using the Spark curriculum, which empowers kids to interact and engage with the Bible. Every week, kids will open God's word and explore their faith through the Bible story. Our goal is to encourage Bible literacy at all age levels. The Spark curriculum includes a Family Page which will allow parents to reinforce the lesson at home during the week.

After students check-in, they meet in the gym at 9:15 for our Opening time. We start with a group activity or game. The lesson presented at the Opening is an introduction to the lesson theme for that day. The offering is collected during this time. At 9:30, students go with their teachers to their classrooms. Parents should pick up younger children at 10:15 at their classroom.

Confirmation (grades 7 & 8)

Teachers: Carolyn Fink, Chris Hopper, Dave Maurer, and Adrienne Wiltzer

The Here We Stand curriculum is being used in our confirmation class which meets Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15. Students check-in at the welcome table and report directly to their classroom. This year, Sunday School time will focus on the New Testament. Next year the focus will be on the Old Testament. The Catechism is covered during retreats (to be announced). Each class includes both large group and small group sessions. Ninth grade students are confirmed during 10:30 worship the last Sunday of October.

High School (grades 9-12)

Teachers: Dick Hewitt, Claudia Lee and Connie Prior

Students go directly to the high school room for group discussion, sharing and fellowship. Meeting time is from 9:15-10:15 a.m.
