Katie Doerfer Adult Education Fund
When long-time member Katie Doerfer passed away, she left a bequest to Prince of Peace. A portion of this bequest has been utilized to establish and provide seed money for an Adult Education Fund. This Fund will be utilized to provide funding for members of Prince of Peace for scholarships to training opportunities. The training scholarships will be in conjunction with the ministry and mission of Prince of Peace or pursuit of one of our congregational values:
Worship and Hospitality, Caring Community and Mission and Outreach.
The scholarship request form below should be downloaded from this site or obtained from the Church Office. Once it is completed, it may be returned to the Church Office. The Executive Committee of the Council will make the decisions regarding each request for funding and the Council is responsible, through the Executive Committee, for how these funds are dispersed. Please allow as much time as possible for the review process for your request. The scholarship is intended to cover a portion of the cost of the training. Each recipient is expected to cover a portion of the cost themselves.
