Community Outreach

Members of Prince of Peace serve our community through Eleanor Street Homeless Shelter, International Mission Trips, Local Servant Events, Habitat for Humanity and other organizations. Financial support is also given to many agencies, including Housing Resources, Inc., Domestic Violence, Next Door Homeless Shelter, Wheatridge, Kalamazoo Youth Ministry, and the Deacon’s Conference.

 

Habitat for Humanity - 2005

 What do you mean this is the wrong place?

During 2005, Prince of Peace is partnering with Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Portage United Church of Christ, and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church to build two Habitat for Humanity homes at:

2315 Benton and 2314 Springmont, both in Kalamazoo.  Prince of Peace is committed to providing both money and labor in order that two more area families might acquire affordable housing.  Volunteer work days are every Saturday through June.
