Migrant Ministry

Each year thousands of migrant farm workers come to southern Lower Michigan from other states and Mexico to work on the area farms.  Prince of Peace, in partnership with St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Portage helps to provide low cost food and hygiene supplies for the "store," located at Immaculate Conception Church in Hartford.  In addition to donated "Welcome" and "Medical" kits,  items such as blankets and comforters may be donated.

Migrant Ministry also provides an opportunity parish members to interact with migrant families through Thursday evening craft and play activities.
